Last day of 2020. Crisp, cold winter day, snuggled inside the blanket with steamy mugs of hot cocoa warming our freezing hands, I & my friends decided to watch "Eat Pray Love" for a millionth time again. Every time I watch this movie, I get amazed & amused by different ways in which this movie appeals & speaks to my heart at different times! But this time, it was the profound monologue by at the end that tugged & reached into the depths of my heart. So stunningly insightful!

I’ve come to believe in something I call "The Physics of The Quest" — a force in nature governed by laws as real as the laws of gravity. The rule of Quest Physics goes something like this:
"If you are brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting, which can be anything from your house to your bitter old resentments and set out on a truth-seeking journey, either externally or internally, and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue, and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher, and if you are prepared – most of all – to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself, then truth will not be withheld from you!"

The year 2020 was indeed physics of the quest for most of us, wasn’t it?

We had to leave behind the familiar, the habitual & were made to (forced to) look at ourselves, all of ourselves, the light & the shadow, the yin & the yang! Have you wondered what truth about you, about your world, about your life was revealed to you? In what way did it set you free? And when you look back at 2020, what will be your takeaway from your physics of the quest?
